Hello and welcome to this session for OS’s. Recently we adopted Mint Linux which is the most popular OS for future users, we love it.
Many OS’s have come and gone, however this introduction is about the most popular OS’s today.
A situation came when we had to support a customer with a laptop, research showed us Mint Linux. Now Mint Linux has been widely used among developers.

OS’s use GUI (graphical user interface) for the user to run software applications.
The OS manages how much memory each software uses and processes the software you use (internet, Skype, Facebook, Office).
Linux has many developers that build OS’s similar to Windows OS and Mac OS.
Up and coming OS’s include Mint Linux which is easy to use just like a Mac OS and with a Windows OS feeling.
